Tasting Note:
A lovely Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Boasting a pale yellow color, this wine has nice aromatic concentration dominated by scents of white flower, citrus fruits, boxwood and blackcurrant buds. Clean entry with a great summer fruit palate of apricots and peaches. Nice length, the finish is fresh and minty. Serve it between meals or as an aperitif. Food pairing ideas include asparagus, seafood, light chicken dishes and goat cheese.
About the winery:
The Gibault Vineyard has been family-run for three generations. Spread over 30 hectares at a point where the three provinces of Berry, Touraine and Sologne meet. Owners Chantal and Patrick Gibault manage the vineyards with respect for the environment. The diversity of grape varieties and the richness of the terrors allow a complete and varied range of wines.
