Critic Reviews:
93 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "The 2004 Lealtanza Reserva Spanish Artist Collection features a gorgeous Salvador Dali painting on the label attached to the heavy, custom-made bottle. As with last year's Miro level, the wine stands up to the quality of the art work. The Tempranillo grapes were sourced form 75+ year-old estate vineyards and aged for 18 months in new Allier French oak. Opaque purple-colored, the wine features a splendid perfume of wood smoke, vanilla, fresh road tar, mineral, spice box, black cherry, and blackberry liqueur. On the palate, the wine is obviously youthful yet elegant. There are layers of spicy black fruits, ripe tannin, excellent balance, and a long finish."

Tasting Note:
Aged 18 months in new French oak barrels and 3 months in French oak vats 22,000 liters of the Seguin Moreau cooperage. Red color with brick nuances. The nose is powerful, complex and intense. It has a strong raspberry and blackberry character, balsamic, cinnamon and some vanilla notes. There are also find and pleasant coffee, leather and toasted aromas coming from French oak. The palate is powerful with light hints of black fruit, yet silky. It is very tasty, with a firm tannic structure, and a long and very noble finish. It is a wine that will continue to evolve for the better. Pair with cheese and meat, and generally any intense, powerful, flavorsome food. It can be taken as a dessert or as a drink without any accompaniment mid-afternoon. Ideal as a gift to surprise.
