91 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "The 2008 Lealtanza Club Reserva is a limited edition of 48,312 bottles, aged in Frech oak casks for 18 months. It has an opulent bouquet of kirsch, strawberry and orange zest that gives way to attractive mineral notes underneath. The palate has an effervescent opening with vivacious dark cherries and cassis notes. The tannins are fine and focused with a very elegant, polished finish that has a citric edge. This is a lively, quite precocious Reserva."
91 Points International Wine Cellar (Stephen Tanzer) - "The 2008 Lealtanza Reserva Club displays a lovely opaque red color and aromas of fresh dark cherry, toasted oak, and a hint of mint on the nose. On the palate, it reveals bold dark red fruit, dark chocolate, rich coconut-chocolate notes from the oak. Aged 18 months in French oak, it is nicely structured with a feminine texture and good tannic grip on the finish."
