Tasting Note:
Aged 3 months in Allier vats (22,000L) and 18 months in new French oak casks. Garnet red with ruby highlights in color. On the nose, it is complex, well-balanced and has aromas of raspberry, cherry, liquorice and hints of spicy pepper and clove from the oak. Supple flavor, good balance, easy tannins and long finish. Pair nicely with a wide range of meaty soups, stews, roasts and also cured cheeses and delicatessen.
