Country: France
Lively red fruit with a hint of pepper describe the nose of this redwine. A supple and velvety palate, accompanied by berry fruitaromas make this medium-weight wine easy-to-drink and ideal for summer drinking. This Merlot can be matched well with roast poultry, barbecues, summer lunches, and many cheeses.
About the Vineyard:
Château Laurie is situated on clay-limestone hillsides on the right bank of the Dordogne River. These terroirs keep hyoid stress at bay without soaking the vines' roots in water. Château Laurie has been recognized as a jewel in the crown of Bergerac's wine heritage for nearly 40 years. Laurie's wide range of dry white, sweet white, rosé & red cuvées attracts wine lovers from France and many other countries right through the world.
