Tasting Note:

- Andreas Larsson: Rich and full, cocoa powder, multilayered dark fruit, spices, unctuous texture, very concentrated.
- Markus Del Monego: Ripe dark berries and black cherries. Modern styled with high concentration and good length.

- Robert Parker: Plenty of black raspberry, black currant and licorice notes intermixed with a hint of vanillin, but no vegetal qualities whatsoever. Fleshy, rich, medium to full-bodied and impressively endowed. The luxury cuvee from Jean Guyon that represents what he considers to be his finest wine is a beauty.

- Wine Spectator: Plum pit, briar and plum skin notes surrounding the core of black currant and black cherry fruit.
- Decanter: Very good rich, almost velvety concentration of Cabernet-Merlot fruit, has depth and class.
- Grand Jury Européen - Jürgen Steinke: Color very deep. At the palate lots of extracted wood.

Other information:

In a blind tasting, "Le Grand Jury Europeen", the 21 wine tasters always place this wine among the first in its appellation. This "micro-cuvee" impresses by its balance, density and fruit. Its aromas of blueberry, blackcurrant and black cherry delight the palate. The finish is long and silky.

Tasting Note:

Aged for 18 months in tanks and oak barrels (95% French oak and 15% American oak), this Rollan de By Cru Bourgeois has a polished, forward, sweet and fresh personality. It exhibits attractive aromas of rich red fruits, juicy plum, blackberry, black cherries, sweet vanilla and oak. Medium to full body, excellent ripeness with integrated tannins and a spicy, long finish.

Pairs well with all types of classic meat dishes – veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roasted chicken, braised and grilled dishes.
