Tasting Note: 50 year-old-vine-age. Hand harvested in the beginning of September. Red vinification at 25-28oC with skin contact for 15 days. Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. Dark cherry red colour in the centre and more violet around the edge. It offers up a bouquet of incense and rose wood exhibiting fruity raspberry aromas and a Mediterranean floral background. Well structured medium aged wine, with velvety tannins, smooth and rounded palate and elegant oak complexity.

Tasting Note: The Sun and The Moon combine with the dense slate "llicorella" soils of Priorat to create an intense and explosive wine of complexity, character and finesse - vines, like people, often thrive upon adversity. For this reason, the name of this wine is a kind of pun that consists of the words "sol" and "lluna", which means “sun” and “moon”. Solluna is aged 10 months in French oak barrels with temperature-controlled fermentation.
Very well defined and bright, high intensity, almost opaque red purplish colour. Perfumed and fresh aroma.
