16 (out of 20) Points [Distinguished] by Jancis Robinson MW
40% new oak. Very dark, blackish crimson. Savoury and little bit briary. A bit skinny on the mid palate. A bit tough. But neat and classic and it could easily be taken for a superior Côtes de Castillon. - Jancisrobinson
A stunning, intense purple color, this wine has a complex nose which hints at the wine's depth and richness. Red fruits mixed with spicy vanilla oak and roasted hazelnuts. This is a powerful yet smooth and balanced wine that can be enjoyed with rich dishes, game, red meats or cheeses. This will age very well.
