Tasting Note:
Aged 18 months in new French oak barrels. Garnet red with ruby highlights in color. On the nose, it is complex, well-balanced and has aromas of raspberry, cherry, liquorice and hints of spicy pepper and clove from the oak. Supple flavor, good balance, easy tannins and long finish. Pair nicely with a wide range of meaty soups, stews, roasts and also cured cheeses and delicatessen.

Located in Fuenmayor, a town in the province of La Rioja, bordering the Ebros River. At Bodegas Altanza, the production of wine is an artistry where they take time to invest into each bottle. By combining traditional winemaking methods with the latest technologies, they strike to produce quality wines at a reasonable price.
